HBAF My 1st Home Grant

The Home Buyer’s Assistance Foundation (HBAF) awards a $250.00 My1stHome grant to select first-time homebuyers in an effort to enhance the success of homebuyers in maintaining homeownership. One grant is awarded per household, and recipients must reside in Nebraska. Grant recipients will be selected by the Board of Directors of the Home Buyer’s Assistance Foundation.

IF YOU DO NOT FILL OUT THE FORM COMPLETELY YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS GRANT!

To qualify, the following requirements must be met:

1. Use the services of a REALTOR® to purchase your first home within the last six months. Maximum purchase price is $230,000.

2. Complete a home buyer education course through a REACH affiliate or on-line education approved by NIFA. For a current list of approved on-line courses, please visit HomebuyersAssistanceFoundation.com.

3. Complete this application form and attach a copy of your closing statement and education certificate.
